OF course.. it is the epitomy of everything Halloween.. you have scary, the boogey man, haunted house, jack - o- lanterns, trick or treaters, blood, mayhem, death.. it is the quintessential halloween movie.. summing up all you personal fears.. add a dash of your nightmare.. and you have the perfect Halloween movie.. topped with the perfect soundtrack.. I just got the chills typing this.. Wait.. there is someone behind me.. .........

I loved the original Halloween. Even being low budget by the standards of today it was such a great horror flick. Here's a little piece of trivia for you when the movie was being filmed they couldn't find a mask they liked for the Michael Myers character so they had a stage hand go to a local drugstore and bring back some cheap masks. They decided to use the "Captain Kirk" mask. So they just spray painted it white and thats the creepy mask we see.

I was watching it the other night and found out something kind of interesting. the writer needed some creepy music and did the entire score (the piano part) in 3 days.
