this is a mystery I have lived with all my life. It is quite common. It is NOT psychological in origin. The problem derives from the basic weakness of the erection - that is to say: the penis became erect to start but simply does not last long enough for pleasure. If a man has a proper erection & virility - he will not only get erect - but persist in his erection for quite some time. I have the same problem even in masturbation. My valves which hold the blood within the corpus cavernosum are weak and let the blood drain too quickly out of the penis. It is so disappointing to see a good hardon & then lose it.

It's probably that you might suffer some illness that affect your nerves that control the erection. Or you might be too excited to go in and this will affect the erection.
