I remember facing Carpenter in High School, I knew then he was going to be something special

Carpenter is a dang good pitcher, shows why he earned the Cy Young award last season, and if the Cards can keep up the good pitching could take this series withing the next couple games.

Sure looked it last night. Best start so far this post season. If it goes to 6 and it' s Rogers/Carpenter that may be a classic.

Well yes he pitched great tonight, but he was due he had a couple of so-so games the last couple of starts
