The GOALS I want to achieve -- I write them down, then break down to specific mini-goals (or intermediate steps), and work towards achieving those step-goals with specific dates to work on them.

This is how I have done it all my life -- from earning my College Degrees, to leaving the horrid short disaster of a marriage to raising two disabled children to adulthood and everything in between -- including purchasing my home, paying my bills, etc.

NOW ... finally -- the empty nest stage IS ACHIEVED -- and I am on to NEW goals -- which I have already put in my PDA and am working towards achieving them too. First was to learn to play golf -- and yes, I AM Taking Golf Lessons RIGHT NOW!

You need persistence, determination, long term planning, short term goals, middle term goal planning, and a strong confidence of why you want to achieve something.

As someone said, success is 1% inspiration, 99% effort.

There is the religious side but in terms of work hours in the job, it all comes to persistence and flexibility.

I DON'T KEEP GOALS.
I LIVE BY THE WORD OF GOD.
I SERVE HIM TODAY AND IF I AWAKE TOMORROW MORNING-I START ALL OVER GAIN.
EACH DAY--TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION..
WHAT I DID YESTERDAY IS IN THE BOOK...
I START ANEW....

ULTIMATE IS HEAVEN.. NOT A GOAL--ITS A REALITY..
I POSSESS IT ALREADY--JUST NOT MADE THE STEP FROM THIS BODY TO NEXT.
