Where can I find information about the media and its expansion?

Question

To be more specific, I to need know how much money is made (annualy) in the media business!

Also, I need to find how big of an impact the media makes in our daily lives.

I'm not sure where you are from. If you are in Australia there is great media change at the moment so just following the news will give you that answer. Apart from that I am not aware of where you can find out that information.

It's hard to say how much money is made annually as there are many groups out there. I didn't realise there were so many. It may by wiser to look into who is the media owner of what and go from there. I know one guy alone in Australia has made around 70 billion from his media ownings.

I think the impact of today is that media is our lives. At work we are surrounded by the internet or listening to the radio etc. Then when we get home the internet goes on, the tele goes on or the radio goes on. During the day we may read the papers and magazines so there is more media. Advertising is all around and that is just more media.
