Let's see. 9 months at 4 weeks a month equals 36 weeks. Sounds like you're about ready to deliver. Why not wait until AFTER the big day since it's so close now?

I wouldnt think that it is the best idea. If you are getting it done with a gun in an accessorie store, or a hairdressers, anything like that. I would not have it done, quite often they dont always get everything clean, The peircing gun can carry hep a,b, or c. or any other virus that is exchanced through fluids. If you are having it done with a needle it might be safer if you are in a shop that uses NEW needles not only sterilized...I would think its not that long until you deliver,I would wait if it were me.

I am a nurse and it is perfectly fine to get your ears pierced any time during pregnancy as long as you go to a clean and reputable place to have it done and you take the extra measures to keep your ears cleaned the way it is recommended to do when you have them pierced. If you wait till after baby you may not get a chance for a while lol. Have fun and good luck with both.

I dont see why not as long as you go to a clean place to have it done. I've known people to get tattooed during early pregnancy even though I would never personally take that chance. Use your own judgement though and if your a little unsure why not wait the last few weeks of your pregnancy out and then do it.

Of course you can. It may sting your ears for a few seconds but will not effect the baby.

My doctor advised me that piercings and tattoos should be avoided during pregnancy. It leaves you open to infections which can harm not only you, but your unborn child.

i don't see why not, other than the fact that you are opening yourself up for infection. you can do anything you want.... i don't see what it would hurt. just think about the infection that may take place.

95% of places wont do any tattoos or piercings while your pregnant. check with your OB to double check.

it's not recommended, most times when you go to get that stuff done they ask you if you are pregnant, and being 36 weeks they can certainly tell.

I wouldn't recommend it. Getting your ears pierced might open yourself to infection, which you don't need right now. Wait until after you deliver.
