yes i most cetainly do.....she was undaunted....til her last performance,....being wheeled onto a stage to sing "God Bless America"......I have nothing but good thoughts for this lady..... and remember ..."There's no business like show business....."

Yup,even saw her on Broadway in Annie get your gun.
It was during a fieldtrip to NYC in Cub Scouts,early 60`s.
We were in the press box,just passin` through.

I don't remember her, but I know who she was. She was an entertainer popular in the fifties who was married to Ernest Borgnine for a brief time (although I try not to picture the two of them naked together so as to preserve my sanity).
She is most known for singing GOD BLESS AMERICA, and her style was to 'belt' out a song as loudly as she could.

Oh yeah.
My Dad was one of the great swing era musicians, then started a company doing stage lighting and sound. I've met the lady.
