i'm doing a submarine preject for science. my partner and i tried doing it today but it didn't work. we used vinegar, baking soda, mabbles and a water bottle. it's due in about 14 days. it's doesn't have to be fancey but we want kinda of a good grade on it. it has to float, sink, and float in that order. it can be simple. plz help!!!!!

Lol i had to do that once, I did it so that the bottle had several holes in it so that it would sink. It had a strong magnet inside also. when it reached the bottom used a separate magnet on a string to bring it back up.

My friend in the class, filled the bottle with water and a bit of weight so it would go to the bottom, but also attached a powerful fish tank air pump which forced the water out and kept the air pressure up so that it did not get back in.

I would suggest his version.

Wow for the life of me, that is a hard one...try molding it with a bottle or balloon...and use mixture of Flour, salt,(like a cookie ) thinly and when it is dried, buy at a paint store, High Gloss, comes in a spray, then stray over at least 4 times, letting it dry after each spray..if too heavy too you can use paper the thinnest you can shape it over the balloon, but always use High Gloss..it will make it water proof...good luck
