Help, I love Mac however my iBook g4 has been having problems lately. While using it, the screen randomly goes black and I am unable to do anything with my computer. Also, sometimes when restarting computer, not sure if it's because I reset the PMU the fans blow for a few seconds or continue to blow for a while. I am afraid of a really expensive fix right now and I hope it's just something minor Please help. Can post more information about computer if I can look it up if you need.

Did you reset the time and choose your startup disk after you reset PMU? IDK why your iBook is acting up because of the little information you gave, but you might want to read and run troubleshooting steps from here.
