I am an electronics tech. You can set your blow dryer to high and dry the phone. Be careful not to get it too close as you could melt the plastic. Also take the battery out when you do this. It may take 10-15 minutes of intense heat to dry it. Incidently I use a blow dryer for much of my work. It's a great cheap tool.

Good luck

Leave it off for a few days. If you are lucky, everything will dry out and it will be back to normal. You just have to hope the water didn't cause a short circuit that fried anything. But let it dry. Same thing happened to me twice, and both times they dried out and were fine. Don't try to turn it on again for about two days.

I dropped mine in water one time and I had to place it in a warm place for about three days before it started working again. If it doesn't come back, you'll have to get another one

My co worker did that. I took her cell completely apart, used compressed air at about 2psi. to blow it dry and then put it in a warm dry cupboard for an hour. It worked fine upon reassembly and she uses it today! :-)=
