there is most defiantly NOT someone out there for everyone. some people are supposed to be alone. that hurts but is true. true love is real but no permanent, you can change true love if things happen. love is a choice, but true.

Love is not as complicated as many people believe. But its just as powerful as we all suspected.

Don't think there is necessarily soulmates out there but there is definitely people who are far more compatible. And i doubt that destiny drives us towards the right person or else why do people divorce or remain single.

I do think that love can be true and that you can actually be in love with this person. It involves passion as well as compatibility. And I think love at first sight is possible, i've met girls for the first time and immediately thought 'wow, i want this one', but that sort of love may not be a lasting deep love compared to having known them for much longer and loving them.

And finally when we are young it can just be horse crap! (not sure thinkin of it this way will make it better)

Love is not a bunch of horseshit.
YOU are the person you are born to be with. If you can live with yourself, any relationship you can in good conscience maintain outside of that with a like-minded individual should work.

Look around you at the relationships you've seen, especially among older people, and I think you;ll find people either learn to love, respect and appreciate each other to maintain a working partnership. When they stop doing that, things get ugly.

I think there are people who come into our lives for a reason; to learn, tech or support, but I do not think that everyone has a 'soul mate'.

I do believe in true love. Although I know of many who tell me "it was love at first sight", I find it difficult to believe. (That has more to do with my personality than love, though. lol)

Just one soulmate...there are an awful lot of people in the world, so it is possible that there could be more than one person just for you.

I think that love is what you make of it. You'll be happier if you don't over-romanticize love. ; )

I believe

that some people have soul mates that they may, or may not, find

many people settle for good enough and are lucky if they end up friends

true love exists, but takes work to maintain

love at first sight is often just lust at first sight

love is tough, but much better than hot horse sh*t

1. Hard to say. I thought I'd found mine then she strayed.
2. I do believe in true love. Love at first sight? No. But definitely a strong attraction that can blossom into love.
3. Love is great.

I truly believe that there is someone for everyone. True love and love at first sight can be the same. Love is worth the wait. I didn't marry 'til I was 30 the first time and he was a nice man, but nothing like my current husband whose presence still gives me butterflies. =)

1st Q: Yes, I do believe that the Lord above created somebody special for me to love. I've always believed this from my heart.

2nd Q: I believe in true love even if my fist marriage failed.

3rd Q: Absolutely not. But you need to find the person who can strike the same chords with you even with broken strings...

Hope you are not as cynical as you seemed. Life is still beautiful.

Yes but I believe that there are many who can be our soul mate some better than others. Yes I believe in love at first site that's how my husband and I felt when we first saw each other. He was being to shy to tell me. I was too, but by accident I told his mom who was my friend and she set us up. I didn't know she was his mom. Then his boss and my old boss set us up.
They tell us it’s the fermions

No its not horse crap

in life you'll find many soulmates... your going to be compatible with many girls .... but there will be that one girl that will just sweep you off your feet - .... i'm not one to believe at love @ first sight - since my Fiance & I met through phone calls then in person... but I do believe first impressions do count - you'll feel the chemistry - we both felt it the 1st time we were on the phone...and it's 6 years and counting................... don't look for love, it'll come around when you least expect it

You had me thinking until I read your last sentence. If that is how you talk, you will one day meet her or him and they will walk on by.

Seriously, used to believe in love at first sight until I lived long enough to wise up and find that it is not always a good thing.
My soul mate, love of my life, my love at first sight who I left my husband for is a bi-polar alcoholic who is threatening suicide AGAIN. Maybe my sole mate is meant to make my life miserable until the day I die.

Once you meet your sole mate, warts and all, you will love them forever and no one can ever quite take their place, to your everlasting torment.
