Think of a conversion. you want to set the problem up like this
560 cal. 3 ounces
---- = -------------
8 ounces N N is the number of cal. in 3 oc.
So, first u know that ounces cancelled out and 8X3 is 24 and
560 X N is 560N. Then you divided by the 560
so you get this N=23.3 ounces
U cant have a higher number than 560. Because 560 cal is repestating the 8 ounces.

1. set up system of equations
2. cross multiply to get
8x=560x 3
3, didvide by 8 on both sides
8x/x=1680/8
