bul riding is horrible? I watched a show on it today and it is terible what they do to these bulls. Just my opinion.

Personally, I hate the sport. I had to watch it in my Senior year of high school in English class because we were reading a book about bull-fighting. The teacher decided to show us the tape to get us more "in touch" with the story...but we weren't required to watch it. I decided to see it because I thought "How bad could it be". It will be something I will never forget and I never wish to see again. Blood was everywhere, and one bull had the slowest, torturous death possible. He must have gotten stabbed with those sword things 6 different times. Towards the end, he had lost so much blood that he was barely standing anymore and just kind of swinging its head back and forth. I think its sad that they cut the neck muscles first so that the bull can't raise it's head anymore and then have to his the heart or many artery that kills them "instantly". I personally think it should be made illegal because it is cruelty.

They are horrible -nothing sporting about it, Consider that the bull is injured-knives stuck into the neck muscle which put him at a major disadvantage-being in pain and the muscle weakened and he gets weaker all the time from the loss of blood BEFORE the bullfighter(slaughterer) even touches him with sword/pick.Please do not eaver feel that you have to halfway justify or apologize for expressing outrage against animal cruelty-they have no voice of their own and this barbaric slaughter for sport has to stop.It will only stop when more and more people speak out for the animals.Good for you.

Yes I totally agree with you. I don't agree with bull riding, bull fights, and bull or cow eating. If you are not a vegetarian and you think bull fighting is bad then you should become a vegetarian.

it is appalling what humans are capable doing to a defenceless animal. I cannot bear to watch it. We are already in 21st century & are "entertaining" ourselfs with such low & cruel acts.
Apparantly in Spain thay still have the Matador schools & producing more "brave" bull faighters. Its absolutely discusting.

I bloody hate it too.......I like it when the bull wins though but that never happens. Animal cruelty really is my most hated thing.

it is awful they torture them then slaughter them afterwards! I won't be visiting mexico or spain for that matter
