There is so much more paranormal investigators can do, it seems like the whole field is marred by absolute crap.

Its because, when you believe in something you are trying to prove, it makes you WANT to succeed and it often causes people to fit facts to thier beliefs and you basically end up with tainted information.. The only good investigator (of any kind) is the one who does not jump to conclusions and has no bias of a subject and remains sceptical and yet open-minded about everything never forming a conclusion until AFTER all the evidence has been collected and analysed.
Most paranormal investigators are flawed because they already believe in the paranormal and are only seeking validation of thier belief. Thats the reason why nothing has been really properly researched or proven in the field of paranormal research...

Unfortunately for paranormal investigators, they always HAVE to think outside of the box if they want to get results, since ghost/alien/yeti/monster detection is not yet an absolute science. They have to try every facet possible to try to get a beat on whatever they're looking for, even if that means doing the weirdest crap imaginable to do it. Hopefully they'll be able to figure out what ghosts are, what the UFOs seen in the sky are, or where those big footprints really DID come from.

I am sorry to say that many of them are crap and I can't blame you for not being a believer, But there are a few real ones out there that have some real scary stories to tell you and you can totally believe me when I say that the entities you are dealing with, You better be able to think outside the box for your roll of life saver will not be of any use.

The ghost hunters on scifi on wednesday nights is pretty good.....they try to explain and debunk what happened and they are very skeptical....even when they caught a sheet moving by itself on a bed (queenmary)they were able to debunk it...and another they caught sheets moving but didn't have enough in the video to say it was good.....and they even caught a chair moving in an attic...they couldn't explain it...it was the only object there.
The last episode in tombstone they caught on tape a wire being removed from a bell that it was wrapped on.

um i dont think so when you see a ghost it will change your opinion
