the problem is not the offensive line. when bledsoe's back there they know to blitz because he's not going anywhere. just having romo back there will stretch the defense because they won't be so aggresive because dallas won't have to use all of their tight ends and running backs to block. dallas scores plenty of points but they give up too many. how many of you think the secondary is the biggest problem. they start a 5th round free safety and roy williams who can't cover if his life depended on it. he's good at takling but that's probably it. the corners are good but they blitz them too much leaving one on one cover for the safeties. and i'm pretty sure someone will answer that it's all t.o.'s fault.

The 'Boys have many problems. I do think that Romo will help the offense. Bledsoe as getting sacked way to often for various reasons. One, the line is not doing its job. Two Bledsoe holds the ball for too long. Three, he couldn't escape my mother-in-law if she was rushing him. Romo could have been sacked 3-4 more times last night, but got away. They also started sending Witten out into the pattern giving them another option. They need to keep their corners back and just blitz with the LB's. Ellis and Ware can get to the QB if they let them go after it. That will cure a lot of the defensive problems. Offensively, Jones needs to get on track and give us a running game.

Im not sure that tony romo is the answer but bill parcells will have to try tony romo i would think since obviously bledsoe is not the answer and not getting it done. the dallas secondary is pretty week. i agree with your comment on roy williams i believe he is more of a college name and talker then he is player. I do think it is partially the offensive line tho and even tho bledsoe is the 5th most sacked qb in history (since sacks was an offical stat in 1982) having tony romo back there for nothing else will be worth it to get some time in before he has to take over this offense unless jerry jones is going to get another qb in a draft

The offensive line is the problem. Bledsoe was never the most mobile QB, but these guys can't stand up to blitzes, stunts or any other tricks a decent defense tries.

A couple of plays in the Giants game, M. Strachan (sp?) had a free shot at him just rushing around the end....absolutely no one touched him. A guy could get killed like that...

I think you are on to something. Roy Williams is not a good cover safety. He should be switched to linebacker in the off season. Another thing that can't be underrated is how poorly they have integrated T.O. into the offense. In training camp TO was not on the field very much. I don't think the quarterback's ever got a good feel for him. I don't get the impression that Parcells ever really wanted him.

face it, Bro, its the line. You really did'nt watch the game, did You? Lavar Arrington, safety, unblocked. Michael Strahan, sack, unblocked. do You see a pattern here?
