Help! I need help starting my messenger list can anyone start with me?

I dont have anyone to start chatting with and I don't know how it goes I need someone to show me how and if that someone doesn't mind to be the first one on my list I will really apreciat it.

For Yahoo.......on the contact list.. click the Contact tab... then add contact.. then put in the email address of the person you want to add and send.. and wait for them to respond...

click add a contact and add the persons email address.
