Your 26 years of age your going do wrong things and your going to make mistakes. And if you feel that you have wasted thoses years or whatever. You need to get up and do something about it. Volunteer, go back to college (I'm doing that and Im almost 29) there is never a doubt that you cant do something that will count as a postive thing because you can!!! Write down things that you want to accomplish in your life see what you can do about it. FELL POSTIVE ABOUT YOURSELF. I have wasted time since I got out of High School almost 10 years ago. Im making what I can do with my life which is going back to college. Do what is right and make a postive year for you because you got a long way to go.

You start over. So many of those 26 years don't actually count because, really, how much of what you were doing and thinking when you were 1 day through as old as 13 really affects you now?

So, be happy that you came to the realization at only 26 instead of 36 or 46, choose a new direction, and get going.

Good luck!

i'm 25 years now and i already had that feeling this year, i'm suffering from depression and i think what ur saying is one of the reasons for that.
i think at this age when u realize ur way of thinking was wrong, u get confused as ur not considered young nor old.
if u say its too late to correct anything, u realize its not, cause ur only 25 or 26 and u have a long life to live(Only God Knows)
and if u intend to do something to change urself, u find that its too late as u grew old and its no longer available (changing oneself)
so yes it is confusing, but i'd go for the optimistic choice, which is 26 is a very young age, and anything can be changed, corrected or readjusted to the new you.

they should call this "quarter age crisis" ;)

Just like most of us, you get it together and do what you should have been doing all along. Be thankful you didn't waste your whole life and work on the rest of it so you will look back on this part and say I did what I could do and I tried my best to be a good person and I changed myself for the better. That's the best you can do. Then keep focused on the positive of it, not the wasted time but the unwasted time you still have left. Good for you!

Stop-YOUR WHOLE LIFE IS STILL AHEAD OF YOU!! Every new day is a new beginning- the past is just that, the past. Your question states that you have awakened from a past life that you no longer want to be a part of, so CHANGE it! Whatever makes you say that you "wasted" your life, the idea of what you would rather be doing is already in your head, so change your life to be doing what you want to be doing----there are 80 year olds graduating from college so anything is possible at any age IF YOU WANT IT ENOUGH. Go for it!!!

Earnestly start to search for the right things to do and think. Congratulations on realizing this so young, most people can spend their entire lives without ever entertaining that notion.

Here is a website that may offer you some answers to these questions http://www.realization.org/page/topics/nisargadatta.htm
This gives a bit of an explanation into a book 'I am That' which is conversations my Guru had with his disciples.

Make some serious changes and realize that 26 is still young and there is time to get on a path that will lead you to happiness. Good Luck.

Well, that's when you need to stop, step back and reevaluate. It's great that you have realized that you've been making the wrong choices. Now's the time for you to plot a course and realize your dreams. 26 is young, use that to your advantage.
