if you are trustworthy and your bff understands that you and the boy are just friends, nothing more. then hey, you just go to the dance. if there is ANY question at all about the boys motives however (what if he secretly likes the girl that's his friend?) then you don't go...
figure if you know the bff likes him then you may need to have a convo w/ her first anyway to be safe.

go with both of them...as friends. Dance and have fun, as long as you don't end up slow dancing with him she shouldn't get mad. Chances are you wouldn't slow dance with him unless you were more than friends anyway. but if you do like him as more than a friend, and she likes him more than a friend...he's just as much yours as he is hers as long as they aren't going out. =/ hope that wasn't too confusing.
