I am Kg, and as i type this im going to be smoking a ciggarette, but i just finished smoking a 1 3/4 bp(mariuan,bowl pack), but before that i took an ambien,(the highest selling sleeping sid) Im not low right now. I am 18 male, 6'4*5, around 180 lbs, curently i am going to college, my grades are slipping, pretty sure im failing 4 out of 5 classes. Im done with my ciggarette (Newport), so to wrap things up here,

is their any one out their that has any opinions about what i wrote and what i did?

You people got the message all wrong, im not looking for attention, im not depressed, im doing it b/c i like to get high. I paid for college on my own and i use my own money b/c their isnt any one at my house to give me money.

My only opinion that I want to share is that you are acting like a college senior who is about to finish and has a job offer.

You can't play that way until you're almost done.

Being 18 and in college is not an opportunity to pout or luxurate in your grief. It's boring, you get pimples on your behind sitting in plastic seats and taking notes, but it is the "high road" to a fulfilling adult life.

Stop burning the joint at both ends and scarring your fingers, dude.

I understand what you are going through. I'm in my early 20's and I am hating life, working full time at a job I HATE and desperately want to go to school and get a degree so I can be more independant. I don't live with my parents anymore, I have been out on my own for a little over 3 years now and I have nothing to show for it. My advice to you is: I think that smoking weed is okay once and a while, but it's not that important. I don't agree with pill taking for leisure because it is very addictive if you are not careful.

All I'm saying is get motivated and do it now because you are 18 years old. You are going to be working until you are 65 or older if you don't take care of things now. When my father died, he was making $9 an hour, he was 43, high school drop out. A good education and a solid job is the way to go these days. You seriously have to think about your future. Nobody else is going to do it for you.

I'm not exactly sure what a 1 3/4 bp (mariuan, bowl pack) is. You may need sleep, or just something to slow your mind down. If you are getting low grades in 4 of 5 classes, don't think of it as failing. Maybe you need to do something else. Art, music, skilled labor, military, or just take some time off for awhile until you figure it out.

Smoking sucks. It makes your breath stink, your clothes and apartment/home/dorm smell and takes money out of your pocket that goes directly to the freaking #$%^& man, who you know has already lied to you.

So Kg, get a grip.

Drop the smoke (all kinds) and get serious about your future. Otherwise, you'll wind up working a 7:00 - 3:30 job like me - getting nowhere fast.

KG, I feel that you are provoking the Yahoo participants.Your Yahoo history says that you are quite capable of communicating well. You have given answers well and 35 of them have been chosen the best answers. So, why this freak outburst? Why not be normal , behave normally and share your views?

Assuming that sometimes one can be low , there are avenues other than self destruction to come out of it. may be you are disappointed in love, may be you donot have a happy home.. may be. yu need not worry. Drugs are escapists` fallback. Not yours. Do wellin studies. Join an NGO organisation and help the needy in Africa. You will be transformed.

It sounds to me like you have something that you may be running away from. Weather it is your bad grades or something else. Instead of doing drugs try to do something constructive like volunteering or take up a legal hobby. I encourage you to try to find out what you are running from because if you don’t deal with it now you may come to regret it later and regret is the one thing you don’t want to burden yourself with. Anyway, pot is not the way to go. I took up smoking because it was cool and I still do smoke, more out of habit now then anything else. I do have personal experience with pot. My brother is big pothead but unlike you he never finished high school and probably will not go to collage. My sister is the same way. Me you ask, yes I tried it but I refused to do it again. Now I am an Asst. Vice President with my company making great money. To be honest when I look at my brother does manual labor, and will for the rest of his life, I feel sorry for him. Don’t get me wrong I love him but I look at what he could have become and still could if he could just get over the whole I want to be high and forget everything. Hopefully you will pull your self out of it but know that it is your choice and what you direction you take now may determine where you will be in the future. Best of luck to you!

Hey Big Timber...Sooty Cat says... don't care if you smoke or do weed...and I think a laid back attitude is cool...I do have one observation...that you are sometimes your own worst enemy...spending all that money and flunking out.
But hey, one thing I do know about 18 year olds and that is they don't listen anyway. So you just keeping on doing your thing and when you get tired of being broke you come back and we'll talk then.

that you seem to be looking for attention, or that you're lonely... maybe you should ease up on the vices, and study a little more.. or just quit school, have your fun, and then go back when you're ready to be a little more serious.. I don't mean to sound like your mother or something, but I have a huge student loan debt, and wish that I'd gotten through university a little quicker.. just a word to the wise.
