My 16 year old seems to pick girls that are rude, rebellious, have no respect for authority, and one was even burning others with a cigarette! I have tried explaining all the reasons why he should not associate with them, but he just says he doesn't want a girlfriend that is a goody two shoes. We have had to make him break it off with a couple of girls because they were mean and abusive. We don't know how to get him to find friends with good morals, values and respect. Can anyone help?

The boy goes for bad girls...mmm...that's hard. You can't really dictate who teenagers become friends with, do you think it is his way of possibly rebelling against his parents? By doing something you don't like. I think I would let him keep doing it and have no reaction at all and see if the novelty wears off.
