When did World war 2 start and end? And why did it start in the first place and who was invovled? I'm doing a timeline for school and I wanted to know what the starting and ending points were. Any help would be great!

WW2 erupted as the malevolant dictator Adolf Hitler started provoking countries and wanting land. At first they were granted appeasement but when they invaded Poland, soon enough nearly all of Europe was in the battle.
