For example, after taking Ritalin, how long should you wait before you drank heavily, or took xanax/valium? I know for a fact that mixing uppers and downers is extremely dangerous.. but whats the time frame?

It's on a drug-by-drug basis. Many psychoactive pharmaceuticals have been developed to stay in the system for a very long time, but I don't know the details on the drugs you mentioned. Regardless, it's far better to limit what you put in your body, especially when using drugs with conflicting results. There's a reason these things need to be prescribed; if your doctor won't give them to you, you probably shouldn't have them. And if he/she gave them to you, that's the person to ask this question.

why do you ask? you should never drink heavily after taking any
types of prescription drugs. for your health , don't think about it.
be good and be healthy. and the time frame is between you and not ever waking up, where you get to meet your ancestors,
but you may not have a micky-d's on the corner, if you know what i mean.
