I want to have some gold teeth for my pirate costume.
Has anyone ever tried it this? Will it damage my teeth?

Of course it will damage your teeth and could possibly poision you also. Your teeth are made of enamel and enamel is pourous. Some of the colorant in the nail polish could seep down into your tooth permanently discloring it. I highly doubt you'd want a weird yellowish looking tooth forever. Then you would look like you have scurvy and not a cool gold tooth like Capt. Jack Sparrow. ;)

Go to a halloween supply store....they sell this stuff called "tooth wax". It's a weird sort of substance that sort of sticks to your teeth like gum.

You can get it in black, silver, or gold.

Eeeep No! You can either buy liquid teeth coloring that comes in a bottle that looks very much like nail polish but is made for your teeth. You can also take a gold foil candy wrapper and tear a piece off big enough to cover your tooth. Wrap it around your tooth and use a pencil eraser to gently wiggle out any wrinkles. Beware it can come lose.

Don't put nail polish in your mouth! It is poison, heavy metals and the like.. I'm sure you could find a fake gold tooth.. You can definitely buy this stuff that blacks out your teeth if you want to look like a tough pirate!

DO NOT DO THIS! this can damage your teeth and posion you! Try having black teeth instead; cut out small squares of black paper and simply lick the back. It should then stay over your tooth.
Other than this, special dress up shopes will have false teeth you could use, or special tooth paint but it may be expensive.

I wouldn't worry about your teeth so much as your health. You know why they put those warning labels on so many things...someone wan't thinking and tried eating something or inhaling something that was not meant to. So if you do this they will have to put warning labels on nail polish about not using it on your teeth. Ever read something like do not eat on the bleach...sound stupid right...well someone must have done it to need that. Don't become the posterchild for nailpolish warnings. It is BAD for you! Dont ever put it in your mouth..

No, because:

1. You will be poisoned by the polish.

2. If you survive that, you will be poisoned trying to take it off.

3. If you survive putting it on, you will damage your teeth.

4. You will look horrible.

Here's an idea: buy fake nails at the store (in the beauty aisle), paint them gold, then use tape on the back of them to stick them on ur teeth.

NO NO NO NO NO Polish is toxic! Not only will it be horrible tasting, it could be permanently damaging. Get the "stick on" caps(like vampire teeth, but not). You will be so much happier.
