I've found that some women like to be openly "checked out". It makes them feel pretty. While others hate being stared at and objectified.

There is a big difference between an appreciative glance and a stare. Subconsciously people of both genders have come to perceived staring as a form of aggression. It makes both genders uncomfortable to a point.

A guy might like it if a girl stared at him IF he liked her but if he didn't like her, no.

It is not really the same with the women I know, they are a bit more reserved then men and take staring to be the forerunner of assault.

Being admired or scanned is slightly appreciated by most women, but a stare is not acceptable behavior.

Yes, especially if you are never told that you look nice. You could make some girls day. I've been married 15 years and an occasional glance boosts my self confidence.

HEY BRICK! I am not trashy and far from it. I am also not conceded like you. You love yourself enough that no one else would want to.

Unlike the other people who answered about their true feelings, you pigeon-holed those who don't agree with you. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAN ANSWER A QUESTION WITHOUT CALLING THOSE WITH DIFFERENCES OF OPINIONS, NAMES. I respect you.

If your avatar looks like you, then I wouldn't scan anyone. Not even the most attention-starved white trashbags would want a guy like you looking at them... by the way, those are the only women that really like being scanned. The ones worth anyone's time are the ones that don't need creeps to stare at them in order to know they're hot.

Women's intuition
Think about the billions spent for beauty enhancement
Billions spent to attract attention
If it does not work why bother on :-
Cosmetics
Perfumes
Fine dresses
Fine shoes
Attractive under garments
Cosmetic surgeries
Contact lenses
etc
etc
etc

well I like it.. but don't make it so freakin obvious. If I look at you, you can look back but don't "check me out". Do it while I'm not lookin. Then get my attention or just stare.. whatever your choice.
