You are confusing medications and diseases. MJF has Parkinson's, which gets worse, no matter what the treatment, over time. Limbaugh had an addiction with oxy, which is a painkiller. No, oxy wouldn't have helped....MJF would have still shook, but he would have been feeling better.....

He purposely filmed the spots while off his medicine to illustrate the ravages of Parkinson's Disease. The problem with the commercials is that he flat-out lies about the issues. In Maryland, for example, he says that Michael Steele would outlaw stem cell research. The truth is that Steele is morally opposed to EMBRYONIC stem cell research and as such is opposed to government funding for it. He supports research using adult stem cells and umbilical cord blood - both of which are already helping people with debilitating diseases (unlike embryonic stem cells that have no proven medical application).

Here's the kicker: His opponent, Democrat Ben Cardin, is the one who voted AGAINST embryonic stem cell research.

Fox deliberately went off his medication to look bad in the commercial. In his book, he admitted to doing the same for Congressional hearings.

He's not Magic Johnson vs. AIDS... he DOES get worse as time goes on... IT IS CALLED PARKINSON'S DISEASE, SHAKING IS PART OF IT... why do you think he supports stem cell research??? It would lead to a cure for Parkinson's Disease... he can't buy a large supply of a certain drug to make it cured... not like what Magic Johnson did.
