The Shining
Darkness
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Ju-On (Jake John is right--that's one scary movie)
Angel Heart
House on Haunted Hill (be sure to watch after the credits)
Signs

Now I'm in the mood to watch some scary movies!

I personally love any movie based on real life. Like: The Zodiac, Jack the Ripper, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hill street strangler, etc.

Watching them in the dark, alone or with someone that gets in to the movie as you do! Sounds like a good time!

But if I have to pick movies not based on real life, I like to pick movies I haven't seen in a while, like Scream, White Noise, Dark Falls, the hills have eyes, Signs, etc.

Sweet dreams ;-)
