I like to put eyeliner on the bottom of my eye, mascara on the top of the eye and wear some eyeshadow on the lid (the colour depends on what I'm wearing.) Is this too much eye make up, or it is okay?

There are no rules....if you like the look....and it makes you feel good....sista....continue on.
Have you tried eyeliner only on top, mascara only on top with a bronze eyeshadow?
Tip: your eyeshadow doesn't have to match your outfit.

Too much? Are you kidding me?
I do WAY more than that.
Eyeliner on both bottom and top. Shadow and then cream on top to smooth it out and then I add lots of mascara to bottom and top. AND I wear foundation and powder.
It sounds like a crap load but compared to my friends and a lot of people they say I don't wear much at all.
But if you're not used to wearing make-up then it will take you some time to get used to the amount.

I think it's just fine. I doesn't sound like too much, if you should wear make it it should be on your eyes, that's the first thing people see when they look at your face. As long as it is done tastefully and you don't have all these different eye shadows on, it's great!

How old are you though?
I think even if you are young, it should be okay. It also depends on what colour you are using. Brown or grey eyeliner/mascara is quite subtle compared to black. If you are a teenager, forget the black.

That sounds fine, but different people look good with different styles of make-up. Never color coordinate your eyeshadow with your clothes though. If you do that, the focus leaves your eyes and goes to the matching.

I say it's fine.. It certainly doesn't sound like too much at all... it's not the area's you put it on, but the colors and the application that determines if it's too much or not.. as long as you don't have Tammy Faye Baker eyelashes, I think you're okay!

This sounds pretty good to me!
I like it when girls put on some make up to look nice...
It shows they can have pride in their appearance, especially when you match the eye shadow :) It shows taste in what you're wearing (you'd probably have pretty good fashion too then).

Sure it's OK... wear your makeup any way that you think makes you look good. You dont have to go by anybody's "rules" but your own! You're an individual, so go for whatever you like.

depending on color..if its dark it puts atention on your eyes, where women realy mess up is that strong foundation they put on their skin and it looks like a manikan. I personally like the eyelashes done,none on the lid and light blush. now a maroon lipstick is awesome.

I think that's fine... just make sure you blend well anmd that the coulors are all with in the same colour family.
