In response to the request for sources, just google Limbaugh and Michael.j.fox. You'll find it in the first few links.

Fox did a campaign spot for the Democratic candidate for the Senate in Missouri. In the spot, he very passionately spoke out in favor of the candidate and her support of stem cell research.

Basically, ol' Rushie-boy decided that since he's never seen Fox tremor that much, he must be acting much worse than he really is. Apparently, even his die-hard fans couldn't swallow that much, so he's backing off a little -- saying that he'll apologize if he "mischaracterized" Fox's illness.

He's a tool, he's always been a tool, he'll always be a tool. He's the original poster child for why the right should never be in power. Unfortunately, the half of the population with an IQ below 100 loves him, so, as long as there are idiots who will listen, there will be a Rush.

I believe you have been misinformed about what Rush Limbaugh had to say about Michael J. Fox. He indicated, based on something Fox had admitted to on another occasion, that Fox deliberately held off on taking his medicine, so that his Parkinson's disease would be more obvious, thereby garnering sympathy from the viewing public.

Limbaugh happens to be the highest paid, syndicated radio host and political pundit on radio, today. That's why he has a radio show.

Rush Limdick did not say that Fox faked his Parkinson's disease. He said he stopped taking his pills before the ad was shot so he would shake and sway more....which he did. This is to make the entire thing more dramatic and more sorrowful. I frankly don't think it worked well. As far as Rush is concerned, I have listened to him for years and hate his disgusting guts. He is so far right that he cannot see any situation with an unprejudiced eye.

sources???????

how about the actual quote

Noting that Fox is "moving all around and shaking" in the ad, Limbaugh declared: "And it's purely an act. This is the only time I have ever seen Michael J. Fox portray any of the symptoms of the disease he has." Limbaugh added that "this is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn't take his medication or he's acting, one of the two."
Later in the broadcast, Limbaugh stated that "I will bigly, hugely admit that I was wrong, and I will apologize to Michael J. Fox if I am wrong in characterizing his behavior on this commercial as an act, especially since people are telling me they have seen him this way on other interviews and in other television appearances."

The Parkinson's Reversing Breakthrough?

Believe me, I no Rush Limbough fan, however:

Rush predicted that he would be misquoted and taken out of context if he commented on the ads that MJ Fox had made - and your question is the first example.

He never said MJ Fox was "faking his Parkinsons." - He said that MJ Fox was off his medication - a statement that MJ Fox has confirmed - he goes off his medication when he attends congressional committee meetings and again this time, when he made the political ads - which, incidentally, were very deceiving.

To reiterate what briang said: "Fox had admitted to on another occasion, that Fox deliberately held off on taking his medicine, so that his Parkinson's disease would be more obvious, thereby garnering sympathy from the viewing public."

He also misleads by stating the candidate opposes stem cell research. He does not. He opposes EMBRYONIC stem cell research--there is a vast difference. My sister DOES stem cell research--and in her professional opinion, (she is a lib) there is no pressing reason to use embryos.........

""he's exaggerating the outcomes of the sickness," Limbaugh informed listeners. "he's shifting all around and shaking and it quite is basically an act. . . . it is quite shameless of Michael J. Fox. the two he did no longer take his medicine or he's appearing." -- The Washington positioned up" Rush became out to be perfect. because it became out, MJF purposely didnt take his medicine formerly his visual attraction to the congressional committee in simple terms so his tremors have been seen..

You really need to ask this question? That pill-popping hypocrite spouts off about any and everyone, the only people that still listen to him are the vapid brainwashed neo-cons that think Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter are intellectuals.

Disk jockeys like Limbaugh are born liars and love to smear good people.

I am not referring to radio talent who play music.
