Thats way way way too long an answer for the two pointless points they give.

One pro is that patients feel more in controll of the process when they have the option to end the suffering when they get down to the last days.
In fact most patients did NOT use the pills as they went unconscious from the illness before they took the pill.

Death is a part of life and we need to become more willing to talk about it.
the cons include fears that elders dependent on their children to caregive may be tempted to speed the process along.
there are more reasons on each side but this is a start

That should set off considerable debate.

Pros: end suffering of terminally ill patients who will never have a good quality of life again, but may linger for years in terrible pain and tremendous expense
Quality of life

Cons: "Playing God"
Uncertainty if the ill person is able to make a conscious decision (consider suicide and how many folks attempt and/or change their minds)
Inability or unwillingness of family members to go along

quite some people think of that's incorrect to do. Then there are the docs who know the soreness which you're dealing with and it no longer getting any greater effective and that they approve of the well being practitioner assisted suicide. that's getting so the soreness medicine isn't helping in any respect or basically for a couple of minutes. I honestly have been living with undesirable soreness considering 1986. they say they might do no longer something for it.you haven't any longer any high quality of life. you're in too lots soreness and the docs won't sign papers to get you a scooter or moterized chair as long as you are able to stroll some steps with a walker.Tears can me rollinig down you faces yet they are going to do no longer something. Iwould do it in a minute if i ought to locate some well being practitioner who could do it.

Come on now - you have to come up with a list as easy as that question....... put yourself in the situation. I could give you a list but then it wouldn't help you think, would it.......

Pretend you're the patient; then pretend your the family, then pretend your the doctor, then pretend, the person is rich and you could possibly benefit from the death.... I'm sure you could come up with a good list.

pros:
get rid of old or sick family members you don't like
don't waste hospital resources on people who are going to die. kill them and get it over with. why do we have hospitals anyway? what a waste

cons:
sorry, no downside
