Yes, you need a video card to play Sims 2. If your computer is fairly new though, you should be fine. And yes...the Sims 2 does take up a heck of a lot of room on your computer so if you're functioning on less than 10 gb of hard drive space...don't even load it.

I'm sure you can download it from plenty of places. I won't name the places because I'm not sure that we can. But most of the places that offer music downloads also offer software downloads. BE CAREFUL! As with any download, you risk downloading a virus or spyware, and with a file that BIG you're talking some serious hard drive damage.

Sims or Sims2?

I think Sims 2 needs one of the latest video cards.

I dont know about Sims 1 becuase it is kind of old onw.

But no, in order to play a game you dont need a video card, atleast no the new games.
