I hate those teens that think that. Sadly, there are a bunch in here.

.......sorry just ranting: I think it's also not just teens but the kids in here are ridiculously immature.

to darlinda, I'm just saying, when will the immaturity end. Maybe I'm talking about everyone (but putting emphasis on teens cuz they are the most vocal)

Of course I did! Might I add that was many moons ago. My dad would just laugh at me(in a good way, I see this now), and wish me good luck with all of my plans. I was never spoiled with material things as kids are today. I really do not believe that the people who have chosen to pro-create are willing to reap what they sew. There are children that depend on us to mold the world. It would be really nice of the young ones to realize that there is life after puberty.

I sometimes thought I knew it all.... but rarely... it honestly depended on the scenario. But now, Im 20, I feel I dont know much at all, and have an open mind to everything. I know more now than I did when i was lets say 18.. but I guess that comes with the experience alled "life" and "years"...

I agree that now teens are a lot more worse than they use to be. I was respectful and caring and did what I was told, but these days, younger teens just dont give half a crap about anything. And our society is going to suffer.... it already is... because teens dont know when to stop their crap.. thats all I have to say about them...

Once when I was in school (this is how bad it was), the end-of-lunch bell rang and it was time for class(was in yr12).. anyway 2 smart @ss kids were throwing a huge 2.5litre coke bottle full of water to eachother.. and I walked past them and one of the kids pegged the bottle at me, and hit me in the chest... (breast) .. I fell to the ground crying and unable to breathe from the pain, and what did they do? nothing! They ran off.... No respect, no following rules... they just ditched me and yeah.... the rest is history....

When i was a teen (30 years ago) I thought I was pretty smart, and in some cases knew more than my parents, but I also respected them. Even though I did not often agree.
Although I sympathize, may I encourage you that such strong language (hate) is not helpful to the situation.
I appreciate your rant, and yes, there are many immature teens... but remember they are teens after all.
Not all teens are immature however - I know many that are articulate, mature, polite, respectful and fun.

Been there did that. I remember truly thinking I knew and understood everything. At about age 18, it hit me how little I knew or understood. I think this is a stage many teens and children go through.

It's funny. When I was a teen i really thought older people were stupid and I knew everything. 20 years later I see kids who 'know everything' and think i'm stupid. Those older people I thought were stupid now don't seem so stupid. Ha, i'm one of them and boy what a difference 20 years of life experience can make.

No I wasn't one of the teens but my sister was and she fought the whole teenager years to be right I stayed in the shadows and obeyed my parents and never talked back to them or argued that I was right and they were wrong.

I haven't been a teen for YEARS and I still know it all. Seriously, all teens know everything. We are just mom's and dad's who know nothing at all about what they are going through. Their time is coming when they have teens of their own. Payback's a b**ch.

Oh yeah. Thought I knew it all...had it all and was invincible. Then I grew up and realized I didn't know crap. Comes with maturity, unfortunately.
