On the news etc. Republicans seem to take a lot of heat for being too "anti-illegal immigration," not being "inclusive," maybe even being "racist," etc. but in the same vein, they are criticized by many for being "pro illegal immigration" because of purported cost savings for corporations. What do you think?

I wish I could answer this but politicians seem to speak from both sides of their mouths. There are so many contradictions it is hard to know what they really stand for.

I think they tend to be against illegal immigration because they don't care about poor people much. They favor legal immigration because those who come here legally are wanted by wealthy corporations to bring in big bucks. The wealthy corporations can afford to fork over big bucks to bring foreigners who don't care about us here.

Worth noting though is that politicians are sometimes not very knowledgeable and with all the issues out there, they might just not know what's going on.

If my family and I are any indication, I would say that we are anti illegal anything. We don't have a problem with LEGAL immigration, it's the ILLEGAL part that's the problem. I don't believe in immunity but I do believe that they should be allowed to stay and get help in becoming citizens.
