i have a friend that is a guy and we are good friends. i really like him. but i dont think he likes me as a girlfriend. should i ask him out?

You need to decide which is more important to you, your friendship or a boy friend/ girl friend relationship. I think you should wait a little longer and see how your friendship goes.

Personally I think that a good friend is always worth keeping, see good friends are like diamonds very rear, but, bad friends are like leaves in Autumn their found every where.

Yes, ask him out, time and again. And ask him for sure, if he likes you as a girl friend. It's possible he does, and you don't realize it.
It's also possible that, if he doesn't now, he eventually will. Don't be so presumptious. Being over presumptious gets girls like you, in trouble. Men, too.

It depends on what you have to lose and what that means to you. If you just kinda' like him, go for it. Ask if he'd like to join you for "such and such." If you really, really like him, and may have to wait and play the stupid "patience game."
