Both are just a fact of growing up. True, you try to avoid them and , if they arise, try to conceal and get it healed. One is from acne, the other, herpes simplex. I had them all the time--and it really bothered me. But, I usually had to clear them up with Clearasil or Camphor. None of these super choices there are today! Good luck!!

Depends on how self consious you are.
I get cold sores and I hate them. They make me feel dirty and ugly and they hurt!
I feel terrible when I have one - so I would say they don't technically matter but they make me feel very self conscious.
