Windows LIVE Messenger will not log in but Windows Messenger will?

Anybody had this problem? can log in with the old Windows Messenger, but not Windows live, this happens on 2 pc's and 2 login ID's - happened after MSN went down in and around N Alabama. MSN no help....

Now fixed, MSN finally has sent the fix
Registry corruption caused by MSN when the Server came back up.... if anyone else has this problem I have MSN's fix for it

oh they must be having problem again restart ur pc. an try again

maybe the connection is not good or maybe you are trying to plug to many thing in one place
