New stadium,Stan Musial,Dizzy Dean,Joe"Ducky"Medwick,Paul Dean,Rogers Hornsby& the '26 team that beat Ruth's Yankees to start the great winning tradition,Jack Buck,Mike Shannon,Greatest Baseball Town in the world.It's impossible to name all the reasons to love the Cardinals.It's just a team you fall in love with as a kid.

Evidently this will not be for the ten points as I have only one reason. Because since I have been a baseball fan (since the Bob Gibson, Tim McCarver, Steve Carlton, Del Maxvill, Lou Brock, Curt Flood,...even Joe Torre days) they have been my favorite team.

I only have one - they play in the National League, that's the only way to play baseball. Stupid DH rule ruined all the strategy that makes baseball so great.
