If he's pretty certain that it's a Brown Recluse, then that is the other spider of 2 in the US (beside the Black Widow) that is poisonous. He needs to go to a doctor--seriously--unless he wants to watch his arm rot off! I'm an RN, please take my advise seriously. Most hospitals offer payment plans for people without medical insurance.

Dont Play around with it, Insurance or Not go to the emergency room. I had a Math Teacher that died after a Brown Recluse spider Bite caused him to get Blood Poisoning :-s he passed away like 3 weeks after he got bit.
Good Luck

if you are talking about a brown recluse spider that is very bad for most people. Some people are not affected however for the majority the skin will start to rot. in 10 days your bf could lose a large amount of skin. call poison control if you are not going to the doctor!!! look up pics on the web your skin will eat away very fast. Go to the hospita!!!!!.

Sounds like a brown recluse spider. I suggest you go to your local emergency room ASAP. While you may not have insurance, if the bite is already causing numbness, your b/f may be in serious danger. This is a potential life/death situation. Seek medical help ASAP.

all right here we go 1 get him to the hospital. your brown locous spider is a brown recluse. if it goes untreated it will cause blood poisoning and the type of poison that is in that particular spider is a flesh eating poison.for the first couple of days his arm will be going numb and then it will continue to swell up. it will look pussy and there should be a black like thing in the middle of the wound. it will keep swelling and within a week to eleven days if untreated his arm could have to be aputated. if still untreated he could die

He needs to get to the dr. If the bite goes untreated the area around the bite will turn vey red and then eventually black meaning that the tissue is dying...this leads to blood infections and possibly an amputated limb depending on where the bite is. The dr. will prob give some antibiotics to fight the infection if it is not too far gone. if it is bad he might have to cut some of the dead tissue away...best bet....get to the dr. ASAP

The er will see him even if he doesn't have insurance....that is the law!! But, it may be cheaper to go to a walk in clinic. If it is a recluse spider bite, his skin will quickly deteriorate and he can become very ill, very fast. To hell with money and go to the hospital!

he is going to need medical attention and fast. I think by the way you mean brown recluse spider. Either way, he needs to see a doctor before his arm rots off.

Get him to a hospital NOW....brown locus (although I think you mean recluse) spiders cause blood poisoning. It will be cheaper to treat now then later...take him to a not for profit hospital...they have to treat him even if he does not have insurance.
