Knowing people in all those positions has made this easy for me... but ultimately it's your decision. Let's look at the Pharmacist... very decent pay, but you're on your feet all day; plus, some work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), as well as evenings. Now the Registered Nurse won't earn as much as a Pharmacist, but her hours could be better or even worse... if you work at a hospital, being low on the seniority list, be ready to work the graveyard shift or even swing shifts. If you're looking for something that's more conducive to family life, choose that of a teacher. Yes, it's a challenging field... but family friendly. You'll have your summers off with your kids... and your evenings will be your own (provided you get those papers graded at school). You have to go with your heart, of course, and all positions you list are careers which help people. Good luck with the path you choose.

pharmacist is a career in high demand and pays quite well, but the training and schooling is extensive (6 year program), and involves a lot of tough science. Teaching is probably the best bet b/c of its short time to earn degree (comparatively) and benefits and salary are pretty solid. I don't know much about RN.

Wow, you made me reflect a bit. I just pressed my youngest to get into a school that applies children from beginning middle and high school to focus on advance science medicine and to be fair art. I really want her to get a gos education and I pressed her to get it together to pass the entrance exams. She did and is doing well so far. Well your interest in psychology is a good one. This is a career that can help many, you can also offer help based on your faith. So those of the same faith can come to you for help and you can guide them. You are the one who has to live in your skin, you must be comfortable there. If you do not want to live in the skin of a Dr. then you can not as you will always wonder what if. Every time you are unhappy as a Dr. it will be their fault as you will say what if I became what I wanted to become then I could be happy going into work today.

They are all great professions, but i believe when you consider that you are a mother and a wife you have to consider your family..and the most obvious chose would be the Teacher, as normally, you can work around your families schedule and the fringe benefits are more commensurate with a women having a family

I know some pharmacists and they seem to have more flexible hours than most. They make good money also.

RN is best. The pay is excellent. You could work like 3 or 4 days and still get more than "get by"

if your a teacher, they have excellent hours and lots of vacations. good f you have kids but the pay is pretty crappy. a nurse is a good career lots of openings and such but nurses are very overworked. i dont know anything about pharmacy...if you want something in between teacher and nurse try a social work career pay sucks worse than teachers but its rewarding
