It may vary some, but when i was on the pill (a different type) I'd usually get my period a day or so into the sugar pills, and it would last about 4 days...
She'll find out when it happens...I don't know that there's a definitely "all the time" answer that fits all women on that pill (or any other)...

She should start her period any time during the placebo week or the week off of pills. I usually get mine on the third or forth day but, on another pill I would get mine on the first day. It really depends on her body. Also, it's possible that she won't get a period at all this month as she is adjusting to the hormones right now. It's not uncommon for women to skip a period while on the pill especially during the first few months. If your girlfriend is heterosexually active, make sure she takes a pregnancy test. If she's been taking the pill properly, it's highly unlikely that she's pregnant but, why not play it safe? If she tests negative and doesn't get a period, tell her to start her new pack. The pill is NOT harmful during early pregnancy and will NOT cause a miscarriage or birth defects. If she misses two periods in a row, she can see a doctor incase of false negative pregnancy testing or another problem.

It will depend on your girlfriend. Wait a few months (up to 3) for her body to adjust to the hormones.
After it adjusts, it will be anywhere from 1-3 days from the beginning of the placebo pills until the period starts. Like the naturally occuring hormones, the body doesn't just instantly react within hours.
Many women experience a shortening of their period when on the pill. I went from 7 days down to 4.

I take Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo and my placebo pills start on Saturday and my period starts Wednesday, so 5 days after I start them, and it lasts about 4 to 5 days. I've been on the pill for 3 years.

Typically with the first pack your cycle isn't regular yet. Usually on your first pack your period won't start until the 3rd pill or so. It will probably last 3-4 days.

if to procure pregnant on the 17, then you definitely can take a attempt each time. A "everyday" 28 day cycle could placed you as being sooner or later late to your era and you will attempt with any attempt from the day you omit your era. "Early" assessments can pass as early as 6 days after thought which might have meant you will have examined as some time past via fact the twenty 5th.

After a placebo (my favorite medicine; I understand it works 65% of the time on all diseases) pill, I imagine you can expect action when ever you think you should.

if the pill is a placebo, nothing is going to happen. It's just a sugar pill.
