i dotn understand how people can stare away at the screen while watching a show about a tropical island with polar bears. come on now.

lost is pointless i completely agree with you. there is nothing intreeging about watching some stupid people that have been deserted on an island and are just too stupid to get themselves off.

Season 1's plot was all right. It left a lot of unanswered questions, but it was all right. Season 2 came and went with more questions than answers. From that point on, LOST went downhill. Such plot should be played for two seasons max already. They shouldn't have opted to push for a 3rd season. I wouldn't be surprised if the show gets canceled out in the near future.

If you think of that as pointless you might as well say that all other television shows are pointless because they're about random things that don't always pertain to real life. And, in that, why not deem sporting events pointless? And then the world as well? Unfortunately, television shows are a form of art and art is a form of expression and expression, however dull you may find it, is never pointless.

LOST is easily the best show on ABC. What does it have to compete with? Slutty Doctors? Woot!
The characters in LOST are complex. They're mutlifaceted and you both learn to hate and love them for their flaws and strengths. Even if it is a bit unusual at times, it always keeps your attention and wanting to watch it again a week later.
