if you're using IE..follow this ..
control panel-> internet option->content->auto complete->clear forms..
it will automatically delete your search history..

Erasing History will do the Job Except that it will also Delete like all the Links and Stuff

The New IE 7 has an option to erase it or turn it off.

download the free internet washer on cnet.com or if your using IE7 its right there.
