I had a physical the other day and this Doctor insisted on checking my prostate. I know men over 40 are supposed to check regularly but I'm in my early 20s? It seemed like he was in there forever although it was probably only 10 minutes or so.I get home today and he had left a message that he wanted to see me next week ?Do you think somethings wrong with my prostate and he is keeping it from me ?

you'll find out. if he wanted to see you next week, then it may not be such a BIG problem. if it was urgent enough, he'd call to meet you ASAP.

Is this supposed to be funny? I think you probably know that a prostate check takes 10 seconds, not ten minutes.

By law they are not allowed to leave a message telling you any results, unless you have signed a waiver stating that they are allowed to do so. My doctor once told me that unless something was found on the tests, I would not hear from his office.

Assuming they all follow the dame procedure, my best guess is that may be there is something but, it's either not serious or the test was inconclusive. Best of luck to you and try not to worry too much, until you have to.

I know you're worried but if he would have felt something in there that was wrong he would have told you on the spot. Did you do any blood tests that he may have received results. Take it one day at a time. Good luck.

ten minutes? dude, he was not checking your prostate, he was feeling you up. Sorry man, your doctor is gay. A prostate exam takes less than a minute.

You are never too young for cancer (even though you are more prone after 40).

Did he do a blood test, maybe he wants to go over those results?

Unless your doctor is.....well insane...why the hell would they keep something for you "No youre fine but id like to see you next week(doctor talking) (NEXT WEEK)> " Sun, i have bad news....i lied....your going to die"

See? makes no sense if hes keeping anything from you.....unless hes sexually actracted to you >_< ew...then he might keep it a secret

i think that if you really want to know the truth call your doctor and if he tells you right there and then, then nothing to worry about but if he doesn't than i you will just have to wait and see.

He is looking for something so he can make sure you don't have it. But, i can almost guarantee he wont tell you what it is.

WHO KNOWS?
YOU COULD HAVE REFUSED THE EXAM YOU KNOW.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR HEALTH.
DON'T LET DOCTORS PUSH YOU AROUND.
GOOD LUCK ON THE RESULTS.
