Since it's around Halloween I'd pick a scary or horror movie. Any other time I'd pick an action or comedy movie.

Comedy. That way.....if it was awkward we would have the movie to laugh at....not to mention i am the BIGGEST chicken in the world......and i dont sleep for a month after i watch a horror movie.

Well, that is a hard question, because "you" are a part of "we" and so your input would be important. If the sky is the limit, it would be a chick flick for me... love those happy ending love stories.
