Go to Control Panel, and double click "System". It should tell you there the amount of MHz or GHz (1,000MHz = 1Ghz), which is the speed of your computer, and the amount of RAM, which is the memory, which should be a number such as 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1024MB (1.0GB), etc.

As for the hard-drive space, you can find that in "My Computer". Double click "My Computer and right click the icon for your hard-drive, and click "Properties". That will tell you how much free-space you have on your computer.

If using Win XP, Ctrl-Alt-Del brings up a Task Manager, going to the middle tab of that window, it would have a running count of free CPU cycle and memory size.

Works within XP, I think 2000 too, not 9x those brings up different than Task Manager.
