Note: This is the exact same answer as the others, but it is much neater and looks more impressive

solving -5y=3x-25

add 25 to both sides
-5y + 25 = 3x

subtract 3x from both sides
-5y + 25 - 3x = 0

add 5y to both sides
25 - 3x = 5y

divide both sides by 5
(25-3x)/5 = y

Simplified by converting fractions to decimals
y = 0.2(25-3x)

Divide both sides of the equations by -5
but don't forget to divide both terms on the right side (3x and -25 by -5) This is a slope intercept form of an equation.
y = -3/5x + 5

For diverse variables, you prefer as many unique equations as variables to sparkling up for them. considering you have 2 variables and one equation, you are able to no longer sparkling up for them numerically. This next concern I might desire to assert is critical: THERE ARE countless NUMERICAL recommendations TO THIS EQUATION!!!! you will have be conscious that folk have given you diverse solutions, all of which that artwork. that's the reason. despite the fact that if, you are able to sparkling up for them in terms of each different: 3x+5y=25 3x=25-5y 3x=5(5-y) x=(5/3)(5-y) in spite of this: 3x+5y=25 5y=25-3x y=5-(3/5)x so which you would be able to no longer honestly get the numeric values via fact there is no longer a unmarried spectacular set of numeric values for X and Y, yet you are able to sparkling up them in terms of each different. wish this facilitates!!
