I read once that opening ur mouth while applying mascara gives u a better chance of concentrating and getting it right from the first time ...

I always heard that it's impossible to apply mascara without opening your mouth. But, I don't know maybe I'm weird or something lol, I don't. I guess it could be to open your eyes wider, maybe they think they're concentrating more though because I can have my eyes wide open without opening my mouth.

We're genetically bred to do so. But seriously, who knows. Every girl I know does this, including myself. It somehow stretches the face and allows the mascara to apply more balanced and easier.

I think subconciously it is because women are thinking of other cylindrical objects that they put into their mouths but this probably best answered by commissioning a multi-million dollar study by the Federal government under the auspices of the Health and Human Services Department.

Hmmm...Let me tell you, I am a girl and a big volume eyelash chick. And I have no idea. I guess I make that and it makes me feel that if I open up my mouth, I won't smudge it on my cheekbone.

I don't know, but I've never done that while putting on mascara.
