How do you turn someone down that wants you so badly, but you want someone else?

I have an ex and we have a child. We're really good friends, but he wants me back and I am into someone else. We get along mostly, but we argue a lot. I can't see myself with him long term. He knows that I like someone else, he still asks me to sleep with him( I gave in once because I was tired of him begging, and I needed mine), I just don't feel the same way and I like just being his friend for the sake of our daughter. He doesn't listen to me either when I tell him I don't want to be with him. I really like the other guy and I think he's into me too(by the way click and how our conversations go.) Any suggestions on what i can do?

By being honest and stop sleeping with him he'll eventually get the point. Be patient. You're going to have to deal with him n o matter what because he is the child's father. So, just keep telling you're not into him anymore and stop sleeping with him and things will fall into place eventually.
