Please don't try it! Yes it does work,it start contractions because you have to "use the bathroom".It makes you sick to your stomach also.
A sure fire way to help start labor...if your ready,is to get on your hands and knees and wash the floor. If you don't go into labor...lol...at least you get a nice clean floor.Seriously something about the gravity and the movements caused when washing does help put you into labor.Of course walking, with a partner is good too.
Congrats and good luck!♥

I don't know what it is but women on here say they drink it with juice and it helps bring on labor, but the side effect are diarrhea . I think women should just do stuff they know that is healthy like take a walk or a little sex is suppose to help to bring on labor your baby will come when it wants. I am 36 weeks pregnant and I have come this far and when and if I go to 41 weeks i will still wait it out until it wants to come out naturally. why risk it!!

most women just throw up, get the runs, get dehydrated, and end up miserable and exhausted and depleated before even starting labor.

Try using your breast pump or stimulating your nipples in another way, for an hour or so a couple times a day. It releases hormones that encourages the baby to start labor.

my wife was such a baby, that almost three weeks early she drank some castor oil and went into labor about an hour later, durring a really bad storm. when i was on duty in the coast guard in pensacola fl, she couldnt take being pregnant anymore. anyway it worked for her, no problems, have someone there. good luck.
