Last time I went to a party like that a lot of people dressed up as 80's icons. Like me and a few friends were the Robert Palmer Girls. Another girl was Madonna, another Pat Benetar..... you get the picture. =)

Get out your best acid washed torn jeans...any super girly, with shoulder pads top-could be polka dotted with BIG buttons, matching colored earrings, bracelets...scrunch boots...or you could wear a super SHORT mini skirt, with cute, colorful top, lacy bobbie socks with pretty pink pumps. GOT TO have something in your hair, even if it's short-and it's got to be BIG! I lived through the 80s (sigh)...alot of it was big & bold-colors & accessories-over the top, but with a raunchy, early Madonna-look-Check out her Holiday or Like a Virgin video-you'll see what I mean or the LEGS video by ZZTOP.. Leggings and an oversize shirt or sweater. BBBIIIIIGGG hair! Stick your bangs up really high, poof out the sides, and make it big all over!
Or you can go with the Flashdance look, a sweatshirt that hangs off one shoulder, tights or leggings, and leg warmers.
For makeup, lots of color on your eyes, two or three colors, dark blush, and lots of lipstick.
Have fun with it, we sure did!

You know what that's not such a problem now, our fashion today is the fashion on 80's. for example, polka dots, stripes, skinny leg Jeans and all those shoes now that you see in the cataloque they are my shoes in the 80's.

A mini skirt/dress with nylons, matching socks, & high heel shoes. Don't forget to wear bright colored makeup, & make your hair big (use lots of mousse & haispray). You could also wear black leggings, black flats, belted long shirt.

big hair, big ear-rings, lots of diamotes, padded shoulders, tight jeans, stone-washed denium, pointy toed shoes, bright colours, blues brothers sunglasses, lots of make-up...way too much... but try looking at 80s michael jackson videos if ur a guy... good luck.
