OK i got this science fair project. i need to grow a bean plant. were or which bean plant seeds do i use to make the project, i dont think or no, if i can use the ones u cook n put them in soil? can i?

Any bean that hasn't actually been canned or cooked can be planted and will sprout. Theoretically. That is, if you have 10 beans, maybe 8-9 of therm will sprout depending on what condition they are in. So don't pin all your hopes on a single bean. Plant a few, maybe in paper cups, about 1" deep. Keep warm and moist but not soggy. In about 10 days, voila!

I don't know the first thing about them but I can refer you to a guy I know named Jack. He grew the biggest bean stalk I've ever seen. If your interested he lives in W. Palm Beach. He bought a house there with some gold he stole from a giant somewhere.

the ones you cook that are in a bag are fine put them in some water to start them once they sprout plant them
